    Minutes to Seconds is looking for a Desktop Support Engineer in a Contract role in Melbourne.



    Requirements

    Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and implement solutions for escalated technical issues.
  • Communicate project status including tasks, iterations and milestones in a timely manner as required.
  • Escalate any issues and/or concerns to the Service Delivery Manager
  • Perform hands-on fixes at a desktop level, including installation and upgrade of software and hardware.
  • Act as a point of contact for escalated customer inquiries, demonstrating exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Skills:
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office product suite (including 365) and desktop applications software
  • Relevant certifications (Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Cisco Certified Network Associate) are highly desirable.
  • Experience of Client/Server architecture and LAN/WAN principles and operations


  • Requirements
    Demonstrated experience implementing secure web based business solutions, specifically:
    • experience developing web APIs using Azure API Manager and customer facing web portal development using .NET Framework (including .NET Core) and ASP.NET
    • Experience developing single-page web applications using either Angular 7+ or React Demonstrated experience in Azure based solution implementation, including:
    •Azure technologies, such as: Azure Logic Apps, Azure SQL and Azure Service Bus and Azure API Manager
    •Azure DevOps and Visual Studio for code development, management, repositories and deployments (CI/CD)
    •integrating custom built apps with third-party systems, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM
