    About the role Reporting to the Operations Lead or Performance Lead, this position is responsible for providing strategic and operational support to drive financial momentum and discipline to the segment/state.


    Primary focuses of this role include responsibility for driving momentum and creating financial discipline for the relevant segment including driving an effective operating and sales rhythm, FTE management, GL management, and localised initiatives.

    This role will also be responsible for leading the embedding of self-service adoption for administrative tasks.

    Assisting their aligned sales leader with planning, providing insights and analysis to assist in growing the business.

    Permanent, Full-time What will your day look like This role is accountable for: Provide performance-based insights and assist in the cadence and sales operating rhythm to drive momentum Effective management & communication of Segment budgets to ensure management of discretionary expenses within budget, delegated discretions, and ANZ Expense Policies Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support as required Presentations, agendas, and minute requirements for State Head/Executive managed proactively Management of Segment FTE compliment to Budget Planning & executing customer focussed initiatives and marketing events with tangible/measurable successes (e.g., referrals created, new business won) and to maximise Segment profile National Head, State Head's time maximised with high value customer visits & state/region visits regularly scheduled Support segment in overseeing all relevant sponsorship initiatives, ensuring value for spend and promotion of brand Maintaining customer data contacts for the segment Executes on both Segment and Australia Commercial specific initiatives and projects as required by GM's, National Heads, State Heads, BPM Team and Operations Lead and proactively raises areas for improvement Ensuring segment organisational charts, staff listings and other relevant people and geographic footprint information specific to the segment are accurate and up to date Support Leadership and Business Performance Team to drive adherence to the Segment's 'Well Managed' agenda, including monitoring/escalation of key issues from Audit and QA reports, regular credit risk reporting, REAL incidents Oversight of people compliance items e.g., Annual leave, Training Assisting the National Head, State Head, BPM with the execution of the Performance & Remuneration Review process Supporting GM, National Head, State Head in communicating key segment initiatives, actions and updates.

    It includes the coordination of business activities to achieve set objectives as well as financial management, resourcing, risk and business continuity.


    Planning and Prioritisation:

    Planning and prioritising what needs to be done (including people, process, and technology implications) in order to deliver upon customer/user needs and strategic priorities.

    This includes identifying, planning for, tracking, and resolving dependencies.

    Data Analysis:
    Collecting, profiling and analysing data to translate into meaningful insights to inform business decisions and deliver customer solutions.

    You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
