- Manage and organise the Principal Lawyer's calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and court dates.
- Handle confidential documents with discretion, ensuring they are stored and managed securely.
- Prepare legal documents and correspondence under the direction of the Principal Lawyer.
- Assist in managing client communications, including taking calls, responding to emails, and ensuring timely follow-up.
- Facilitate internal communication, acting as a liaison between the Principal Lawyer and other staff members.
- Organise and maintain the Principal Lawyer's office, ensuring a tidy and efficient workspace.
- Conduct research and gather information as requested to support legal proceedings and client consultations.
- Undertake any other administrative tasks as required to support the Principal Lawyer and enhance office efficiency.
- Proven experience as a Personal Assistant, Legal Secretary, or similar role, preferably within a legal setting.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with legal management software.
- Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
