    Personal Assistant to Principal Lawyer - Job Opening

    Are you an organised, detail-oriented individual with a passion for the legal field? Our dynamic and prestigious law firm is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Personal Assistant to support our Principal Lawyer. This role is critical to managing the day-to-day activities of our lead legal expert, ensuring smooth operations and enabling them to focus on providing exceptional service to our clients.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Manage and organise the Principal Lawyer's calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and court dates.
    • Handle confidential documents with discretion, ensuring they are stored and managed securely.
    • Prepare legal documents and correspondence under the direction of the Principal Lawyer.
    • Assist in managing client communications, including taking calls, responding to emails, and ensuring timely follow-up.
    • Facilitate internal communication, acting as a liaison between the Principal Lawyer and other staff members.
    • Organise and maintain the Principal Lawyer's office, ensuring a tidy and efficient workspace.
    • Conduct research and gather information as requested to support legal proceedings and client consultations.
    • Undertake any other administrative tasks as required to support the Principal Lawyer and enhance office efficiency.
    Qualifications:
    • Proven experience as a Personal Assistant, Legal Secretary, or similar role, preferably within a legal setting.
    • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with legal management software.
    • Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.
    • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
    • A commitment to high professional ethical standards.
    • Educational background in legal studies or related field is preferred.
