    About the role:

    Looking for your next great opportunity? We are seeking a dynamic Rehabilitation Consultant to come join the team in Cairns.

    As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will assess, plan, organise, and participate in workplace rehabilitative programs to help clients achieve positive workplace health outcomes. Our client has a strong focus on early intervention strategies and you will have the opportunity to provide preventative occ health strategies on site with clients in a 1:1 and group settings. Your days will include a mix of case management of clients on different compensable schemes, income protection, worksite assessments and workshops.

    This is a full-time position, part time will also be considered. Graduates through to senior applicants are being considered

    About You:

    • Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy
    • AHPRA registration
    • Industry experience in Occupational Rehabilitation (highly regarded)
    • Experience within employment services (highly regarded)
    • Ideally a minimum of 2 years experience
    • Mediation or Facilitated Discussion experience is also desirable but not essential
    • Knowledge of Workers' Compensation and injury management
    • Outstanding communication and networking skills
    • Excellent writing skills and experience writing reports
    • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
    • Able to work independently and as part of a team
    • Australian driver's licence
    • Willingness to travel locally and regionally as needed
    • Eligible to work permanently in Australia
