    Senior Analyst Small Business Group Credit Structuring

    It's an exciting time to be joining our Group Credit Structing Small Business team. In this customer-facing role, you'll be working with CBA customers from Small Business Banking and Commercial Banking segments who are experiencing financial difficulty.

    The purpose of Group Credit Structuring team is to care for our customers by listening and assessing any vulnerability concerns and taking their individual circumstances into account (including their mental and physical wellbeing). We have the courage to use our judgement and constructively challenge our stakeholders, as appropriate. We pride ourselves on our vast experiences by sharing insights and providing guidance on risk related matters to our business partners.

    Do work that matters:

    You will use you credit skills to understand customer circumstances, that are experiencing financial difficulty. Together with our business partners, we develop strategies to achieve balanced outcomes for all stakeholders.

    Our outcomes are focused on restoring the customer's ongoing viability and preserving the relationship with CBA. Where this is not possible, we work with customers in a respectful and collaborative manner that meets community and shareholder expectations.

    Key responsibilities for this role include:

    You will be expected to perform the following tasks in a manner consistent with CBA's Values and People Capabilities:
    • Day to day management of a portfolio of Business customers experiencing financial difficulty.
    • Demonstrating care by having compassionate, empathetic and supportive conversations with customers, whilst also having the courage to be firm, fair and pragmatic.
    • Using your experience in risk/credit, exercise a lending delegation and use judgement.
    • Engage and manage a wide array of stakeholders.
    • Identification and management of complaints.
    • Financial analysis, written and verbal communication skills.
    • Positive team-based attitude which will add value to the team's productivity and culture.
    • Take part in various initiatives and projects to improve our customers lived experience.
      We're interested in hearing from people who have:
      • Collections experience preferably with Business customers.
      • Provide sound, consistent risk management decisions.
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
      • Excellent attention to detail.
      • Awareness of restructuring and insolvency practices in Australia.
      • Ability to think outside the box, be curious and decisive whilst adapting quickly to new situations.
