    About the role

    Suitable to a Darwin local or someone who is open to a relocation, the role of Coating Supervisor leads a dynamic team, whilst overseeing adherence to stringent project standards and procedures, guaranteeing the highest levels of performance and compliance. Your ability to foster strong client relationships will be paramount as you navigate the complexities of the industry, ensuring client satisfaction and project success. With a focus on continuous improvement, you'll drive initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, while also championing the development of our workforce.     Your day-to-day includes:

    • Responsible for delivering and maintaining high standards of work whilst carrying out the duties of this role in line with project, Altrad and INPEX Values as to achieve long-term success.
    • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of project standards, specifications, procedures, and communicate them to members of the work force.
    • Perform formal site safety audits (e.g., CIC, PTW Audits, Safety Observations) and random inspections and contribute to the adherence to internal and external Safety KPIs.
    • Responsible for safe conduct of all work undertaken by the workforce under their control and for fully understanding safety and quality requirements and standards.
    • Ensure the personnel carrying out the work understand the work requirements and that work instructions, safety instructions, and / or quality documentation are supplied, understood, and complied with by the work group.
    • Responsible for the organization and management of labor within their direct work group.
    • The position supervises work teams to ensure that all work is completed safely, on schedule, to required quality and client specifications.

    About you

    • Extensive on-site experience within the energy, mining, and/or construction sectors, preferably spanning 5 years or more. Proficiency in the Oil & Gas/LNG industry is highly valued.
    • Possession of a Cert IV in Frontline Leader Foundations Training is advantageous.
    • Preferred background includes previous hands-on experience and/or certification in STOPAQ and Humidur coating applications.
    • While not mandatory, possessing Coating Inspection qualifications such as NACE CIP 2 or a STOPAQ Inspector Certificate is beneficial.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
    • Strong written communication skills, capable of preparing comprehensive work reports and job instructions.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders involved in operations.
