- Assisting in the operation and maintenance of Council's sewage treatment plants at Forest Hill; Mangoplah; Collingullie; Uranquinty and Tarcutta, ensuring the facilities reflect industry best practice and comply with environmental legislative requirements.
- Provide support at the Bomen Industrial Sewage Treatment Facility, Narrung Street and Kooringal Sewage Treatment Plants as required.
- Undertake numerous general maintenance duties of all sewage treatment plant grounds.
- Undertake cleaning of the sewage treatment plant process units.
- Current Class C Driver's Licence;
- General Construction Induction Certificate (White Card); and
- AQF3 Chemical Accreditation (Desirable).
- Mowing and whipper snipper operation including mowing with a tractor or 4WD Kubota F3690 mower (or similar);
- Chemical application and weed control including operation of boom and spot sprayer; and
- Pressure cleaner and blower operation.

Description
We are seeking a self-motivated individual to join Council's Water Reclamation team to assist in the day-to-day operations and running of the sewage treatment plants around Wagga Wagga and surrounding towns.
In this role, you will provide assistance to the Water Reclamation Operator (Rural) and team, to achieve high quality maintenance and day-to-day operation of Council's sewage treatment plants including effluent reuse, bio-solids management and associated infrastructure services.
