Our client have won a multi million dollar Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) project in Melbourne with construction due to start at the beginning of November.
We are actively recruiting for a Senior Commissioning Engineer to join the team.In this role you will lead the commissioning activities for the Battery Energy Storage System facility, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules and budget.
You will coordinate and supervise all on-site commissioning activities, including the contractual test of BESS OEM battery systems based on electrical/ instrument background knowledge in particular.
It is a key part of the role to collaborate closely with the project team, constriction team, contractors and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution.
To be a successful applicant for this role you must have the following:Minimum 7 years' engineering/ commissioning experience in power/ traction sectorElectrical Engineering qualification, white card, current drivers licenseAbility to mentor and grow a team of highly skilled and experience technical resources required for existing and emerging market opportunitiesExperience in providing subject matter expertise for technical functions for all phases (identification, capture, delivery and close)If you are interested in this role please apply or get in touch for more information.
