    How will I help?

    An exciting opportunity is available for a Copywriter to join Westpac Brand and Marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for composing and crafting, and delivering compelling effective creative and strategic copy for key brands including; long form articles, headline and sub copy, web copy, digital asset and social copy, direct to consumer communication, campaign copy and other copywriting tasks and presentations for B2B, B2C and internal communications

    Your key responsibilities include:

    • Work alongside key In-House Agency creatives and strategists to create and deliver best-in-class copy and tone for our brands
    • Work alongside internal stakeholders, marketing and digital teams and corporate affairs to deliver copy and content across our owned assets for a variety of corporate, B2B, and B2C briefs
    • Support the delivery and activation of key brand communication across external channels, working closely with other In-House Agency creatives and internal brand and marketing departments.
    • Compose, craft , and finesse long form copy for web, digital, email, social and printed channels
    • Create headline and sub copy for WBC's web and digital channels, internal communication and external comms
    • Create and deliver copy that meets SEO requirements for digital assets
    • Finesse, roll out and deliver marketing campaign copy (and asset copy) for marketing concepts created by the creative team/s
    • Work collaboratively with other creatives to ideate campaign ideas to meet creative briefs
    • Proof-read creative work and SME-authored content created in-house

    What do I need?

    To be successful in this role, you need to have the following skills:

    • Experience in personalisation at scale,
    • Figma experience, and experience in Agile ways of working preferred.
    • Previous experience in agency customer marketing and BTL experience is essential, working on financial services or highly regulated clients preferred.
    • Excellent writing skills
    • A passion for copy and content
    • Driven to finesse copy and focus on the detail
    • Digital channel writing experience – web, social, display
    • Social channel experience – understanding platform opportunities
    • Experienced long form writer: articles, letters, advertorials etc
    • SEO knowledge and understanding
    • Ability to bring an idea to life, through words, from brief to delivery
    • Ability to take a creative idea and adapt the idea across multiple deliverables and channels
    • Strong, positive and self-motivated team player
    • Ability to ideate conceptual ideas
