    28th March, 2024 About the role

    An opportunity is available for an experienced Payroll Officer to join this close knit payroll team for a 6 month contract.

    Reporting to the Payroll Manager and working in a close-knit team with a great vibe, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
    Processing payroll on a fortnightly basis and participating in end of month procedures
    Processing tax, superannuation and other entitlements including leave, Work Cover and termination payments
    Respond to payroll queries from employees and managers in a professional manner
    Interpret and provide accurate advice regarding awards and enterprise agreements
    Preparing and distributing reports to managers About You
    You will be an experienced payroll officer who's worked in a medium or large business (experience with Aurion would be preferred but is not essential)
    You will have great attention to details, the ability to meet deadlines and enjoy working in a structured, fast-paced environment
    With a solutions focused approach, you will enjoy investigating and resolving problems
    You will be a people person - confident and comfortable dealing with people
    You will be able to adapt to a growing and changing environment and willing to roll up your sleeves when needed
