    Azure Developer

    • ASAP Start - 16 months to 30 June 2025
    • Location – ACT, NSW, NT, QLD, SA, TAS, VIC, Offsite – Flexible work arrangement
    • Australian Citizens with Baseline clearance

    Infinite Consulting is seeking an experienced Azure Developer for our esteemed Federal Government Client. This is an ASAP start for an initial 16 months contract until 30 June months option to extend is possible based on funding and approval.

    About the Role:

    As the Azure Developer, You will have experience in the design and development of new and existing enterprise java software applications, hosted on the Azure cloud platform. You will have significant experience in the Java spring framework, React js the Azure hosting platform. Your major job responsibilities will be:

    • Designing, developing, testing, & delivering applications using Java Spring (and associated open source projects) to be deployed as Azure App Services, Function apps, and Web Apps.
    • Designing & Developing Azure Logic Apps.
    • Contributing to improvements to DevOps and CI/CD practices & artifacts used by the team.
    • Troubleshooting & resolving issues encountered by testers through automated and manual test runs, & bugs encountered in production.
    • Keeping allocated items in Azure DevOps up to date.

    Essential experience:

    • Extensive experience designing, developing & delivering solutions in accordance with requirements and solutions designs using the following key Azure services: Web Apps, App Service, Function & Logic Apps, and utilising these enabling services: Azure SQL, App config, Key vault, API Manager, & AD Authentication.
    • Extensive experience designing and developing applications using Java Spring (and associated projects) & or
    • Experience Designing and developing microservices based applications using concepts such as API orientation, domain driven design, self-containment, event driven architecture, eventual consistency etc.
    • Experience delivering Azure resources via Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipelines using tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Terraform and Azure DevOps – Desirable.

    Submission Requirements:

    Initial term: 16 months contract until 30 June 2025

    Extension: 12 months extension option

    Clearance: Australian Citizens with Baseline clearance

    Submission deadline: 5/03/2024
