    Join our dynamic team as the Manager, Strategy and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the Supply Chain Branch You will lead and coordinate the development of effective organisational strategies and business plans to support the Branch to evolve into a contemporary, sustainable supply chain offering for HHS customers.

    The Manager, Strategy will l ead the coordination, development, and implementation of high-level organisational strategies based on appropriate business and supply chain theories and research to enhance the Branch's service offering to customers and partner services.


    About Supply Chain Branch:


    Supply Chain Surety is a branch in Corporate Services Division (CSD) supporting the supply of clinical goods, pharmaceuticals and linen products to the Hospital and Health Services (HHSs), Queensland Health.

    The branch is comprised of functions critical to Queensland Health's supply response, including Supply Chain Services, Central Pharmacy, Group Linen Services and Operations.

    This branch brings together an end-to-end supply chain function from demand planning through to warehousing and distribution into a single integrated branch led by the Executive Director.

    The Branch supports clients and stakeholders across the Department of Health, all HHSs, Queensland Government and some external agencies.

    What we are looking for:
    Demonstrated experience developing, implementing, and evaluating complex strategies and associated activities.
    Strong organisational skills and a proven ability to deliver high-quality work in a demanding professional environment.
    Demonstrated high-level interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills, with demonstrated experience developing collaborative relationships with stakeholders to achieve defined goals.
    High level ability to identify, build and maintain business relationships and partnerships through collaboration and consultation.

    High-level communication skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and negotiate outcomes at a senior management level to achieve strategic outcomes.

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including the demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret complex information from a variety of sources to make informed recommendations to executive stakeholders.

    Highly developed ability to identify, manage and mitigate emerging risks in a complex, strategic environment.
    Demonstrated leadership and management at a senior level, including the ability to coach and mentor staff.
