    What this role involves
    Reporting to the General Counsel, this role is responsible for providing legal expertise towards commercial decision making and ensuring that all operations of CyberCX are conducted within acceptable risk parameters and the business remains compliant and across relevant legislation while meeting required business outcomes.

    Day to day you will (but not limited to):

    • Provide timely, commercially focused, risk based legal support to CyberCX executives and the wider business, with a focus on making CyberCX easy to deal with for customers and employees, whilst balancing risk appropriately
    • Lead and efficiently negotiate commercial transactions (buy side and sell side)
    • Develop processes and procedures for the efficient running of CyberCX's Legal Function to allow us to deliver efficient legal services to our staff
    • Develop effective playbooks, templates, FAQs and other tools and processes to equip staff with self-help tools for routine/BAU work
    • Harness tech to streamline legal outcomes and innovate in delivery of legal services
    • Identify, develop, and implement legal compliance programs and training for CyberCX
    • Efficiently manage any matters briefed to external lawyers, ensuring value for money
    • Keep across any regulatory developments impacting CyberCX, to ensure stakeholders and relevant practices and functions are informed of, and CyberCX is proactively identifying, areas of potential risk and opportunity in new legislation and policy
    • Actively build cross-Practice and cross-Function collaboration with key leaders across CyberCX, and continuously look for ways to add value
    • Facilitate communication, partnerships, and cross-pollination across CyberCX to allow teams to better engage and service customers

    Skills and experience
    You bring at least 3 years of relevant experience across a reputable law firm and/or in-house experience in a corporate / commercial legal area, in an enterprise business (Tech / ICT industry preferred but not essential).

    Candidates with experience in an in-house role, or dealing with business or enterprise sales environments, highly desired.

    Additionally, you possess:

    • Demonstrated and hands-on exposure to technology, privacy, IP, data, or commercial legal issues as they relate to drafting, negotiating, and settling contracts (buy side, sell side) in a fast paced, sales focused environment
    • Commercial acumen, and business knowledge
    • Proven ability to formulate legal solutions and to identify, minimise and avoid exposure
    • Solid stakeholder management, analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to work with non-legal professionals to achieve outcomes and manage client expectations in difficult circumstances
    • Well-developed organisational skills and focus, including capacity to prioritise tasks effectively and efficiently, work autonomously and manage time in accordance with strict deadlines
    • Bachelor's or master's degree in law or related field
    • Collaborative and with an enterprise mindset
