Waste Sorter Labourers - Sutherland, Australia - Labour Options

We are looking for general waste sorter labourers / Spotters and Weighbridge Operators in the Sutherland Shire.

These are long-term casual positions on day shifts 6am to 4pm + includes 1.5 hours overtime.

The Company:
Our client is a large building materials recycling plant located in the Sutherland Shire.

The Role:
Waste Sorter picker will be responsible for sorting building materials such as concrete, timber, masonry, gyprock, and metal on a continuous conveyor line.

– This role is in a noisy and dusty environment and you will be standing the whole time.
– Spotters to inspect loads that come into the yard and also when they leave the yard.
– Weighbridge operator to work on the weighbridge, taking money, talking to customers.

You will need.
To live within 15 km of the Sutherland Shire. Have a construction white card, own transport preferred, be physically fit and able to stand for long periods of time. Experience in waste management or recycling is an advantage.

Drug and Alcohol testing will be conducted randomly

Pay terms.
You will be paid in accordance with the Waste Management Award 2010.
You must be prepared to work up to 10 hours a day 5 days per week with overtime included.
