The business was established in direct response to the growing lack of credit in Australia's mid-range property market; a situation exacerbated by the shortage of reputable, risk-adverse, non-bank lenders.

    Fortis our property development business, has a portfolio of more than $750 million in successfully completed residential and commercial projects, with a further $560 million to be completed by the end of the year.

    Due to continued growth, our Marketing team has an opportunity for an experienced Marketing Manager.

    Job Description

    About the role

    This role is responsible for the brand and campaign planning and execution of Fortis projects in Melbourne.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Creating and implementing each project's end-to-end marketing and media strategy, in line with the sales and leasing strategies
    • Researching and analysing each project's competitor landscape, customer demographics and market trends to inform marketing strategies
    • Briefing and overseeing internal and external creative and production teams to ensure all marketing and advertising assets are created on time, on brief, within budget and to high creative and quality standards
    • Developing innovative ideas that position our team as experts and industry leaders
    • Creating memorable experiences for prospective and existing purchasers and commercial stakeholders
    • Working closely with development, sales and marketing teams to identify, prioritise and follow through on sales, marketing and leasing opportunities
    • Managing all project specific events including project launches, community initiatives, sales suite openings, open homes on completion and residents' welcome events
    • Tracking marketing, sales and leasing data and regularly reporting to wider project team on campaign recommendations and optimisations
    • Ensuring sales and leasing meetings produce productive outcomes, such as new marketing initiatives or adjustments to existing initiatives in response to collected data and other feedback
    • Ensuring the wider project team are involved, engaged and in agreement with a campaign's direction, deliverables and budget
    • Implementing agreed approval processes at key milestones
    • Reporting marketing activities and achievements to the business as part of the weekly Development WIPS
    • Ensuring adequate agenda and meeting outcomes are documented and shared
    • Ensuring all experiences and communications are consistently in line with that projects' communication strategy
    • Ensuring all experiences and communications also deliver on Fortis' brand positioning and guidelines

    Desired Skills and Experience

    About you

    • 5+ years' experience in commercial property marketing
    • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or equivalent
    • In-depth knowledge of commercial / mixed use real estate
    • Proficiency in digital event promotion tools such as social media channels
    • Proficiency in project management tools
    • Good understanding of all digital media platforms
    • Experience managing marketing branding and campaigns for commercial real estate including office and retail leasing
    • Experience in developing and delivering tenant experience strategies and engagement initiatives
