Our Client, Nowell Pty Ltd t/a Printcraft are looking for a Printing Machinist to join the team of professionals in the Print Finishing Department.

The successful applicant will have enthusiasm and a willingness to learn the modern equipment - Stahl, Heidelerg, and Polar - which make this a very interesting and challenging opportunity for the right person.

Working within out modern airconditioned factory, they have an afternoon shift with opportunity for overtime, available for an immediate start.

Experience

✓Relevant qualification, or over 5 years industry experience required

✓ Superior written and verbal communication skills

✓ Good general level of computer literacy and Microsoft application skills

✓ Knowledge of and adherence to WHS Policies and Procedures

✓ Knowledge of and adherence to Quality procedures within the ISO Colour Quality system ISO12647-2:2013 and ISO9001:2015 Quality Management

✓ Ability to multi task, work under pressure and remain customer focused

✓ Motivated hands-on team player with good problem solving skills

✓ Good self-management and organizational skill

DUTIES

✓ Produces books, magazines, newspapers, brochures, posters, leaflets, packaging materials and stationery using printing presses.

✓ Operation of automated stitcher, guillotines and poly bagging line

✓ Operation of folding machines and envelope inserting machines

✓ Checking of job requirements ✓ Setting machines to specifications

✓ Loading and unloading of materials

✓ Emergency and regular maintenance of equipment as required

✓ Deal with clients, suppliers and other employees professionally at all times

✓ Support company policy

Salary $70,000 - $72,000/Year

Overtime and penalty rates apply
