    A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Store Person to join our Energy team at UON's Kalgoorlie Branch.

    You will be responsible for:

    • Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse
    • Stock control
    • Assesses supply needs and makes arrangement for additional supplies
    • Maintains inventory stock records
    • Receives and checks incoming stock items
    • Records information regarding damaged or incorrect goods
    • Load and unload of incoming/outgoing goods
    • Cycle counts / Annual Stock take
    • General day-to-day duties as requested
    • Overall management and control of the stores function
    • Checking in/out of goods and stock items, updating stock register
    • Conducting regular stock takes for procurement process and marks stock items
    • Assist with the logistics of incoming / outgoing goods
    • Work collaboratively with all UON departments to achieve UON goals, values and behaviours
    • Adhere to the relevant QA procedure
    • Maintain a safe and clean workplace (HSE compliant)
    • Adherence to All company policies and procedures, including but not limited to HR, QA, SHE and other relevant systems
    • Active involvement/ participation on the company's continuous improvement programs
    • When working in Kalgoorlie Branch:
      • Assist in coordinating consolidation of goods and preparation for dispatch to site, including quarantine requirements and packaging.
      • Maintain registers of all paperwork and goods related to acquisition, mobilisation, transportation and tracking of all goods.
      • Checking orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.
      • Conducting regular stock takes and maintaining accurate inventory records.
      • Receiving, checking, and storing incoming goods

    To be successful in this role you must possess the following key requirements:

    • Forklift Ticket
    • Current and valid drivers Licence C Class (Manual licence essential).
    • Current and valid Load restraint training (Secure Cargo & Load And Unload Goods/Cargo)
    • Must have 2 years' experience (desirable) in a stores/warehouse environment
    • Experience in a similar role
    • Previous experience with picking and packing orders
    • HR Licence (preferred)
    • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
    • A positive attitude to work and desire to 'get the job done
    • Computer skills
    • Good communication skills
    • Maintain accurate records
    • Physically able to lift and move items
    • Strong organisational skills with process stock transfers
    • Experience with Goods receipt and initial quantity and quality inspection
