    Job Summary

    The Head of Marketing will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing canibuild's marketing strategies, with a focus on establishing and strengthening our brand presence in the ANZ and North American markets.

    The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a senior marketing leader in a startup environment, deep understanding of go-to-market strategies, and extensive experience in the Saa S and Building/Construction industry.

    This role will be reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
    Job Responsibilities

    Strategic Leadership:
    Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with canibuild's overall business objectives and growth targets.

    Brand Development:

    Lead initiatives to enhance brand awareness and positioning in the ANZ and North American markets, ensuring consistency across all channels and touchpoints.


    Market Research and Analysis:
    Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and opportunities for differentiation.

    Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and implement effective go-to-market strategies for new products and features, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including IT/ engineering, sales, and customer experience & growth.


    Digital Marketing:
    Oversee digital marketing initiatives including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing, optimising performance and ROI.

    Customer Acquisition and Retention:
    Drive customer acquisition efforts while implementing strategies to enhance customer retention and lifetime value.

    Partnerships and Collaborations:
    Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and collaborations to expand canibuild's reach and influence within the industry.

    Team Leadership and Development:
    Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities.

    Performance Tracking and Reporting:

    Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, providing regular reports and insights to senior leadership.

    Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
    Minimum 10 years of experience in senior marketing leadership roles, preferably in a startup environment.

    Proven track record of success in the prop tech or construction technology industry, with a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer needs.

    Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing go-to-market strategies such as but not limited to brand awareness and recognition, lead generation and customer acquisition, customer conversion and sales growth, market share and competitive positioning, return on investment of marketing campaigns, customer engagement and satisfaction, and marketing efficiency and optimisation, for the ANZ and North American regions.

    Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable plans.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and driving results in a fast-paced environment.
    Experience leading and managing a high-performing marketing team.
