About the role

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Remote Pilot Drone Operations to join our team. This role can be based anywhere within Essential Energy's operational footprint.

The Senior Remote Pilot is responsible for ensuring the operational Remote Piloted Aircraft environment is maintained in accordance with CASA Regulations, company policy and procedures.

The Senior Remote Pilot will also be a primary point of contact for the business regarding drones and their usages, providing governance and guidelines to reduce the risks associated with the use of drones for inspection activities across he network and ensure the RPA fleet is maintained and fit for operational use.

About You

You will demonstrate knowledge and previous experience operating RPAS in Australia's airspace regulations and procedures suitable for the RPAS class. You will have the ability to plan, monitor, assess and analyse work practices to ensure goals are achieved by specific deadlines.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma in Leadership and Management or Demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications.
• Certificate III in Aviation (Remote Pilot – Visual Line of Sight) or UAV Operators Certificate

Desirable Qualifications

• Certificate IV Project Management
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
• Certificate III ESI – Distribution (Powerline)
