Based in Sydney, your role as a Compliance and Operations Analyst will assist the Compliance Manager maintain ongoing compliance and accuracy of data inputs across projects. Manage the invoicing and purchase order creation process and liaise between the business and finance on various project related activities. Interactions will be widespread and involve collaboration within the ESOL business, Finance as well as external engagement with regulators and auditors.

    Lead the change, from the frontline

    With honesty, integrity and respect, you will:

    • Conduct internal compliance audits for projects, analyse findings and propose corrective actions.
    • Maintain a compliance and risk management framework for the Shell Energy's ESOL business.
    • Establish and maintain documentation such as registers, compliance policy documents to support the ESOL business.
    • Assist the business in implementing regulatory changes in the business, including conducting training.
    • Collaborate with IT to scope and develop systems to support compliance and reporting obligations.
    • Manage and respond to requests from external parties such as regulators and external auditors.
    • Ensure accuracy and completeness in compliance documentation.
    • Manage accounts receivable invoicing and liaise with the Credit & Collections team with regards to any outstanding customer payments.
    • Help ensure consistency and accuracy in coding of staff and travel expenses in Concur/SAP.
    • Manage purchase order creation and goods receipting.
    • Assist in liaising between business and central Accounts Payable team to ensure smooth "Procure to Pay" cycle.
    • Assist in ensuring the ESOL team follow finance related processes and policies.
    • Assist with project and administrative reporting.
    • Liaise with finance with regards to end of month requirements.
    • Maintain customer and supplier files.
    • Help maintain and establish business process documentation.
