    Description

    My client specialises in the design, manufacture, integration and optimisation of advanced weapon systems.

    About you:

    • A degree qualified Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, etc.)
    • A minimum 10 years' experience on complex technical development and integration projects
    • Strong supervision and mentoring experience
    • Highly developed English communication skills - written & verbal
    • Advanced data analysis and model development skills
    • Knowledge of ANSI/EIA 632 and ISO/IEC 15288
    • Broad understanding of industrial control, operational control, and business systems
    • A growth mindset with the ability to recognise and seize opportunities
    • A strong ability to quickly grasp and articulate technologies
    • Prior defence programs experience

    What you will be doing:

    Providing a high level of leadership, contributing to and influencing strategy for technologies, product and services;

    • Leading systems engineering teams
    • Working across multiple projects and applying your deep technical knowledge of systems engineering and ASDEFCON
    • Providing mentorship and guidance to engineers and across engineering teams
    • Championing the system engineering process
    • Documenting system designs, safety requirements and specifications
    • Undertaking testing and evaluation activities on systems
    • Engaging with key stakeholders and subject matter experts
    • Developing and implementing systems engineering processes
    • Adhering to and ensuring compliance understanding
    • Other tasks as defined by business requirements
