- Maintain crane on a daily basis by inspecting for defects or wear and lubricated as required;
- Operating the crane in a safe and responsible manner at all times;
- Check the condition of the ground (e.g. building site) before setting up the crane;
- Place the correct equipment under the outrigger pads of the crane (normally these are timber blocks, but they can be steel plates depending upon the condition of site);
- Check that the crane is level on the outriggers before attempting to lift and place a load;
- Be aware as to how much material can be safely hoisted in each load according to the crane's capacity and the weather conditions e.g. high winds;
- Crane Operators Ticket (National or State ticket) - C2
- Minimum of 1 year experience on crane borer within the electrical supply industry
- Heavy vehicle licence for mobile cranes and Hydraulic Cranes and Heavy vehicle licence for Crawlers preferred but not essential
- Western Power High Voltage accreditation – Preferred
- Able to perform duties, maintaining high standards in both Safety and Quality

The Role
Based in our Canning Vale depot, we have multiple roles to work either regionally, on a 10 & 4 roster or metropolitan Monday to Friday.
