    Head of Special Education Services (H01) - Bundamba State School - Special Education Program

    An exciting opportunity exists for a Head of Inclusion (Head of Special Education Services) to join the dedicated team at Bundamba State School commencing early Term 2 until13th December 2024, withthe possibility of extension.

    The successful applicant will work alongside the permanent HOSES and members of a dynamic Inclusion and Engagement team to support students and their families to achievesuccessful outcomes. Tosupport our school community, the successful applicant would be able to support an immediate start.

    Bundamba State School is situated in the busy growth corridor of the eastern Ipswich area in South East Queensland. The school is attached to the metropolitan education region.

    Our school has a clear focus and a rigorous approach to teaching and improving the reading, and numeracy standards of our students. All key learning areas are taught inline with the Australian national curriculum.

    About the Role:

    The role requires a strong background in inclusive processes including the ability to identify data trends to determine supports for students, enabling access to quality curriculum and education.

    You will have a strong sense of team and be proactive in leading school wide inclusion by providing curriculum leadership in the area of special education leading to the achievement of quality learning outcomes for all students.

    You will have strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to develop and sustain productive relationships within and beyond the school community.

    A key responsibility is in using analytical skills to contribute to educational outcomes at an individual and school level while effectively managing human, financial and physical resources to deliver high quality organisational outcomes.

    You will be an integral member of the Inclusion and Engagement Team and work alongside teachers and school staff as we continue to prioritise school improvement.
