Position Details

Christ the King is a double stream Catholic Primary School with classes from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6 and a wonderful vibrant Special Needs Learning Support Centre.

Christ the King School is seeking a compassionate and qualified School Nurse to join the School community. This is an ongoing part-time position (0.9 FTE) commencing on 6 May 2024.

Working Conditions Location:
On-site at the school campus

Hours:
Typically follows the school calendar terms including school hours

Interacts with students, parents, teachers, and staff in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Selection Criteria As a Registered Nurse (RN) working in a school setting, you will play a critical role in promoting the health and well-being of students with diverse needs.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide compassionate and evidence-based nursing care to students with neurodiverse conditions, disabilities, and medical health care plans.

You will collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications Required

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program.

• Current and valid RN license in the state.
