    The Role:

    • Grade 2 Physiotherapist: Emergency Services and Vestibular Clinic
    • Permanent Part Time 32 hours / fortnight (including Saturday) - Candiates who want to cover part of EFT are welcome to apply

    This exciting and dynamic position plays a leading role in the delivery of care to patients in the Emergency Department (including Short Stay Unit, and Emergency Observation Unit) combined with Vestibular clinic based at The Northern Hospital Epping. The physiotherapist will enjoy a fast-paced and collaborative experience working in the busiest Emergency Department in Victoria. They will be supported by an engaged allied health leadership team.

    To be successful in this role you will have:

    • Experience in physiotherapy assessment and management of a broad variety of conditions managed in Emergency Services and the acute medical setting including musculoskeletal, neurological and vestibular conditions.
    • Ability to assess complex patient presentations including those in the Emergency department and facilitate safe discharge including referral to community-based programs
    • Ability to assess and treat patients presenting with vestibular conditions and facilitate safe discharge including referral to community-based programs
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
    • Proven capacity to successfully work as part of a multidisciplinary team
    • Commitment to ongoing professional development
