- Supporting, respecting, and reinforcing the School's Ethos, Values and Guiding Principles In accordance with the School Improvement Plan, providing leadership in the delivery of the curriculum and the development of the modern learning culture to enhance teaching and learning.
- Developing and using management systems to support and enhance student learning. Working closely with HR to ensure recruitment and contractual requirements are fulfilled and supporting each Head of Campus in the management of human resources i.e. recruitment, selection, appraisal, professional development.
- Strengthening communication and relationships with each Head of Campus and between Heads of Campus within OneSchool Global.
- Participating and contributing actively and positively in planning and strategic endeavours as part of the OneSchool Global Senior Education Leadership Team (SELT).
- Working with Regional Principal to manage budget and expenditure of each Campus.
- Engaging in teaching and learning opportunities with students.
- All of our District Principals are required to have also have a teaching load.
- Experience leading educational activity across multiple, geographically distributed sites.
- Experience working with a wide range of stakeholder groups, including school boards.
- Experience working in environments with high levels of community engagement.
- Experience in school budget management.
- Experience working in a variety of schools, or with a broader range of professionals.

About the opportunity
The District Principal is the pivotal position leading multiple positions within a cluster. Reporting to the Regional Principal and Regional Team Leader, the primary objective is to strategically and operationally lead Campus Principals to achieve high performance. The goal is to achieve the highest standards in Teaching and Learning, Student achievement, quality, compliance and governance with the vision, values and strategy of OneSchool Global.
This position will lead District 5 which includes Launceston, Hobart. Hamilton. Swan Hill, Berwick, Bairnsdale, and Bendigo.

You will have knowledge, experience and a positive inclination to the modern learning environment and learning techniques as well as demonstrated success as a school teacher, with a proven ability to understand and employ effective strategies for managing the challenges of the classroom. You must hold relevant qualifications and relevant state teaching registration.
