    About this opportunity

    We specialise in the manufacture and supply of rigid plastic and metal packaging solutions serving the consumer and industrial sectors.

    The Supply Planning Manager plays a critical role in coordinating the timely release of production schedules, each with unique complexities and constraints, to ensure our products are produced on time every time.

    As Supply Planning Manager, you will be accountable for:

    Production Plans (in SAP) including the Planning schedule with production and maintenance teams to ensure orders are delivered in-full and on-time. You will also take an active role in the Supply & Operational Execution rhythm.

    Your key responsibilities include:

    • Creating consistently predictable schedules for the plant, built within agreed planning guidelines, based on requirements set out by the Supply Chain Manager, and optimising plant efficiencies.
    • Planning and reviewing resin requirements and materials ordering and planning.
    • Working closely with the sales team on customer priorities and revised dates for open orders.
    • Collaborating with the maintenance department to incorporate preventative maintenance plans into the production schedule.
    • Working with the Materials Planner to ensure materials are ordered and delivered on time.
    • Ensuring production planning information is up-to-date and MPS reflects current data, working closely with the Supply Chain Manager.
    • Participating in Daily Production meetings to make decisions and provide recommendations steering plant schedules to alignment.
    • Managing finished material inventory levels, ordering finishing materials, and liaising with suppliers and sites regarding timely supply and inventory levels.
    • Coordinating routine stock takes in line with the Pact Policy and ensuring all updates are captured in SAP.
    • Providing input, analysis, reporting, and recommendations on inventory shape to support planned sales.

    Your skills and experience

    To be successful in this role, you'll have:

    • 6+ years' experience in a similar role, ideally within the FMCG, manufacturing, or distribution industries.
    • Experience in ERP systems (preferable SAP) and strong computer and excel skills.
    • A high level of organisational skills and attention to detail.
    • The ability to understand, anticipate, and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders.
    • Strong communication skills at all levels, including active listening, written, verbal, and formal presentations.
    • The ability to prioritise, multitask, and work cross-functionally.
    • A strong understanding of manufacturing operations.
    • The ability to lead by example.
    • Agile, responsive, and good under pressure.
