    About the role

    We are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to be a part of our Paraburdoo Fixed Plant Maintenance team.

    This role is a great opportunity to work with a diversified fleet of equipment and gain exposure to a wide variety of equipment manufacturers. You can also expect exposure to leadership step-up opportunities whilst working with subject matter experts, conditioning monitoring technicians and equipment inspectors.

    Working a family-friendly 8 days on, 6 days off roster and reporting to the Senior Maintenance Engineer, you will be:

    • Providing technical engineering support and expert advice to the maintenance team.
    • Monitoring and managing Asset health
    • Analysing major component failures and incidents
    • Leading defect elimination projects and root cause analysis

    About you

    To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:

    • Strong safety behaviours
    • An experienced electrical engineer in fixed plant operations with a high degree of familiarity with fixed plant high voltage equipment including motors, variable speed drives, switchgear, power control, PLCs, SCADA and electrical instrumentation.
    • Demonstrated understanding of process control systems and automation
    • Experience in delivering continuous improvement initiatives / projects.
    • Experience in defect elimination processes and root cause analysis
    • Experience in SAP and Power Bi will be beneficial
    • A relevant tertiary qualification in electrical engineering
    • Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards, Regulations, Acts and Codes of Practice
    • A current C Class Driver's Licence
