    Wood is currently recruiting for a Lead Risk Advisory & Asset Management Consultant to join Digital Advisory team.

    This role can be based in either Brisbane or Perth and is offered as a full-time permanent staff position reporting to the Global Practice Lead Risk Advisory & Asset Management.

    In this role you will be working primarily on project work packages and campaigns that will draw on your interpersonal and collaboration skills to deliver the described scope.

    Our ideal candidate will lead the development and delivery of asset management, asset performance management, and reliability engineering solutions addressing client needs within the APAC region and the wider Wood business and our clients globally.

    You will provide specialist knowledge and technical project management input, assurance and guidance and act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in your area of specialisation.

    You will also be key in providing consulting services to our clients and work collaboratively with our technology partners in the areas of strategic asset management, risk, reliability engineering and operations readiness.

    Provide technical leadership in strategic asset management, risk, reliability engineering and operations readiness
    Identify and convert potential project and service opportunities to widen the portfolio of long-term business relationships
    Oversee and contribute to the preparation of proposals
    Contribute as Peer Reviewer / SME on global projects, to actively contribute in the delivery and due diligence for projects
    Provide technical and commercial direction to consultants, provide overview of project schedules and budgets and perform detailed review of critical aspects of projects
    Assist with professional development of engineers and consultants by sharing specific skills and knowledge
    Support internal Wood competency development and assurance management plan
    High degree of client contact with responsibility for specific client and ongoing relationships with technology partners
    Contribute to marketing and business development, undertaking APAC and global market analyses to identify opportunities and contribute to marketing and BD support material, follow up proposals and client meetings
    Assist in the training and development of Wood clients and staff to develop their skills and maintain industry-leading knowledge in their areas of technical responsibility

    Skills / Qualifications

    It takes a diverse range of people to achieve the level of impact Wood has on the global energy sector.

    As a member of the team, you will need to have and demonstrate:
    Engineering degree from a recognised university or college in a relevant discipline
    15 years engineering and consulting experience in asset intensive industries
    Proven track record of technical delivery and client management
    Exposure to operations and maintenance activities and practices on operating assets in Mining, Energy, and related sectors
    Well-developed computer skills and knowledge of databases, spreadsheets and typical reliability engineering and assets
    Strong knowledge of the regional and global market and relevant industries such as Oil & Gas, Power, Mining, Infrastructure
    Ability to develop and maintain client relationships on the basis of technical credibility and project delivery record
    Demonstrated experience in undertaking business development activities to acquire new work
    Ability to structure and organise workflow, including appropriate delegation to internal stakeholders
    Demonstrated experience in team leadership, analytical, solutions driven
    Ability to influence and inspire confidence around technical solutions and demonstrate innovative solutions and thought processes
