    Administration Assistant - City Strategy and Outcomes

  • Permanent full-time, 35 hours per week
  • Salary from $1, $1,492.10 per week + 11% superannuation

  • We are currently seeking a dynamic and customer focused professional to provide confidential secretarial and administrative support to the Executive Manager City Strategy and Outcomes. You will play an invaluable role in supporting the section in delivering key community outcomes.

    About the role:

  • Provide confidential secretarial and administrative support to the Executive Manager City Strategy and Outcomes.
  • Assist in arranging the Executive Manager's diary on a day to day basis.
  • Research and prepare draft correspondence for the Executive Manager.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Executive Manager in a professional, efficient and courteous manner.
  • Coordinate the timely completion of reports to meet Council's various agenda timeframes and ensure a high standard of publication is produced by the Section.
  • Update and maintain the section's intranet pages as well as the section's web content on Council's Internet site.
  • Organise functions and meetings as required for the City Strategy and Outcomes section.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational processes and standards in relation to all corporate systems and documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the City Strategy and Outcomes budget.
  • Prepare and process all City Strategy and Outcomes purchases and process invoices for payment using Finance One.
  • The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or job related experience in a similar role.
  • High level interpersonal skills and demonstrated high level written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant corporate software
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people including internal and external customers.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion and diplomacy at all times.
  • Excellent time management, organisational, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and the ability to work with a minimum of supervision.
