    Job Title: Handy Person

    We are seeking a skilled and motivated Handy Person to join our dynamic team at Macquarie Hospital Facilities Department.

    Temporary Full Time Position: The successful candidate will work until 31 October 2025, with the possibility of ongoing employment.

    Classification and Remuneration: This position is classified as a Hospital Assistant Grade 3, attracting $1,082.51 per week.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist in maintaining buildings, plant, and equipment by performing planned and emergency maintenance tasks.
    • Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure duty requirements and standards are met.
    • Complete building management system reports, including work feedback, inventory, and general maintenance reports.

    Requirements

    • Current WHS General Induction for Construction in NSW Certificate.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision, communicate effectively, and work as a team member.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work at heights.
    • Experience in plant & equipment maintenance and related building services infrastructure, or general grounds maintenance.
    • Current NSW Driver's Licence.
