    Right at Home Townsville is currently seeking a Registered Nurse with a passion for working in Community Aged Care to join our fast paced organisation.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Knowledge of Aged Care and Community Care Sector, Community Care Common Standards
    • Proven ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care and services for clients within the in-home community care environment
    • Ability to undertake holistic assessments and create risk informed person-centred care plans
    • Experienced in wound care, medication management and continence care
    • Proficient in Microsoft Suite

    • Casual/part-time

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor Degree of Nursing
    • Current AHPRA Registration
    • Current Australian Driver's Licence
    • Current Australian National Police check
    • Current First Aid and CPR certificate
    • Blue Card or willing to obtain
    • Professional Indemnity Insurance

    Preferred Skills

    • A passion for high quality client-focused care in a community setting
    • Able to work autonomously or within a team environment
    • Excellent time management and organisation skills
    • Minimum 2 years experience in Aged Care/Community Nursing including knowledge and understanding of Home Care Packages
    • Experience in wound and catheter care
    • Problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
    • Compassion and enthusiasm, with a friendly approach
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Reliable vehicle with full comprehensive insurance
