Contracts Manager Location:

NSW, QLD, ACTReporting to the Head Of Procurement, the Pre – Contracts Manager is responsible for the engagement of design and construction partners and Network Service Provider suppliers for our clients Wind, Solar and storage projects: Top of Form Assist EPC Procurement Leads in the development, management, and tracking of procurement strategies.

Engage with development and technical teams to define project requirements, specifications and key risks.
Identify and address contractual risks and propose appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
Manage development of tender packages, tender bid assessments, commercial and contract departures.
Development of contract rights, obligations and interface matrices.
Lead negotiations on major procurement projects with external parties.
Ensure that effective contractual document control processes are adhered to.
Ensure our clients risk allocation objectives and tolerance are considered in all procurement and contracting processes.

Deliver pre-construction commercial support services across our clients projects, including managing consultants and advisors to ensure financial close for projects.

Experience At least 5 years of experience working in Procurement or Project/Commercial Management in construction or energy/renewables Strong understanding of the energy industry and familiarity with renewable energy technologies.

Experience negotiating complex infrastructure construction contracts and finance agreements.
Strong understanding of EPC contracts, engineering specifications, and project management concepts.
Teritary qualification in Law, Project Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field.
