    The Role

Land Systems Division, part of Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group, is seeking experienced and passionate Project Managers who are looking for a new challenge and be part of a growing team. As an EL 1 Project Manager in Land systems Division, you will have the unique opportunity to lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver Australian Defence Force systems that are at the leading edge of Defence capability.

    Your role will be fundamental in the delivery of important Defence projects within Land Systems Division. These roles are diverse, require flexibility and typically undertake a wide variety of work, such as preparing submissions to Government, executive briefings, financial management, reporting on project status and collaborating with Industry partners. Your responsibilities will require you to apply your project management expertise throughout the project lifecycle, from conception through to introduction into service.

    Critical to your role will be the establishment and management of effective and collaborative stakeholder relationships to meet project milestones and deliver agreed outcomes. You will be adept at managing complexity, effectively apply analytical skills to a variety of information, scope opportunities, risks and issues, utilise your problem-solving skills while coordinating multiple tasks within agreed priorities, timeframes and accountabilities.

    This role is eligible for an additional remuneration benefit known in Defence as a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP). This enables Defence to provide a premium, in addition to the base salary otherwise payable under the Defence Enterprise Agreement (DEA), for positions in occupational disciplines/classifications that are critical to Defence capability.
