    Set at the top of Perth's North Inch and overlooking the River Tay, St John's RC Academy is at the heart of the North Inch Community Campus. Our 2-18 all-through school provides education for over eleven hundred children and young people from nursery to S6. The campus is a hub of opportunities for the local community, utilising state of the art sports and cultural facilities, offering a wide range of services for all ages.

    St John's RC Academy is looking to recruit a Principal Teacher of Mathematics and Numeracy within the secondary of our all-through school. The successful candidate will work as part of the Extended Leadership Team with the aim to deliver universal and targeted support for our young people and their families, enabling them to excel within school, achieve their best and transition to positive destinations.

    The Individual

    We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Principal Teacher of Mathematics and Numeracy who can work collaboratively within a large team and be an inspiring leader for others. You should have experience of planning, delivering, engaging and stimulating learning experiences which meet the needs of all learners.

    The successful candidate will be an excellent teacher, with a track record of forming and developing excellent relationships and collaborative working practices with pupils, parents, and staff. You will have excellent communication skills and have experience of positively engaging learners, families, colleagues, and partners.

    The successful candidate will be data literate and be able to gather and analyse complex data and communicate how this can help improve Numeracy levels across the school.
