    About the Role and our client

    Our client is looking for a dedicated payroll specialist to join their team immediately. Our client is a not for profit organisation and is searching for a candidate with atleast 1 year of experience processing high volume payroll.

    Position Description

    Working within the Payroll and finance teams, your daily tasks will include:

    • Payroll processing for a large volume of staff (200+ employees)
    • Ensuring accurate and timely process of payroll administration including compliance with statutory requirements
    • Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
    • Proving accurate information in response to employee queries
    • Other tasks as directed

    Candidate Profile

    The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Payroll Officer position along with the following skills and attributes:

    • Previous payroll experience, atleast 1 year
    • High volume payroll processing experience
    • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • The ability to interpret numerous awards and EBAs
    • Experience working in a large organisation
