    About the Role

    Canberra Grammar School is seeking applications for Exam Supervisors to be carried out throughout this academic year. Our Exam Supervisors play a key role in following exam guidelines from both the NSW Department of Education for the Higher School Certificate (HSC) and the International Baccalaureate for the IB Diploma (IBDP). Exam Supervisors work throughout our school-based Trial Exams and our Final Exam blocks. This role is responsible for ensuring all our exam sessions are run with consistency and professionally for the school and our students. As an Exam Supervisor, responsibilities will include monitoring students, including assessing and responding to instances of misconduct, room set-up, verification of student identity, and the distribution, collection and validation of completed exam papers.

    About You

    You are dedicated, passionate and possess the following:

    • Ensure compliance with all regulations and procedures to support students through the examination period are followed
    • Provide supervision and direction to students including those with additional requirements as required
    • Maintain confidentiality and security of all exam materials and personal records including the distribution, collection and validation of completed exam papers
    • Verification of Student Identity and exam roll marking
    • Assist with room-set up prior to each exam and ensuring rooms are clear at the end of each exam session
    • Assessing and reporting any instances of misconduct including the completion of necessary reports
    • Escort students to rooms and or breaks as required during the examination periods
    • Follow all instructions as given by the Presiding Officers for both the HSC and the IBDP
    • Other tasks and responsibilities as reasonably requested by the Presiding Officers for both the HSC and the IBDP

    All team members at CGS are required to have:

    • A valid ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card
    • A current National Police Check
    • Full working rights within Australia
