Secondary School Drama Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Providence Christian College is a co-educational, non-denominational K-12 college with over 1100 students located in the beautiful Southern River.

We are currently seeking expressions of interest for a short-term contract position:

The position will cover Senior School Drama classes for Year 11 General 2024 and Year 11/12 General 2025.

We are looking for a passionate and inspiring drama teacher with experience and qualifications in teaching the above subject and year groups.

Deeply relational, friendly, and open
An outstanding teacher in your subject area
Developed a variety of teaching and learning strategies to meet the needs of all students
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including team-building and mentoring skills
Prepared to go the extra mile to ensure students are well provided for
Committed to supporting College policies and procedures relating to Classroom and Behaviour Management
Understanding of technology and able to confidently integrate this into teaching

Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience related to the teaching responsibility required by the position
Current Western Australia Australian Teachers Registration Board Certificate of Registration (TRBWA)
Current Working With Children Card
Current Police Clearance

The successful applicant will be expected to complete the National Principals Child Safe Modules if not already completed
Must have the right to live and work in Australia (VEVO checks will be conducted to confirm eligibility)
