    We're interested in hearing from people who:

  • Bring a software development background eg; C#, or JavaScript, and .NET, essential.
  • Can bring a quality engineering background would be highly regarded.
  • Understand what needs to be included in unit, integration, and end to end tests including automation testing.
  • Can develop and rollout test harnesses, frameworks, tools and infrastructure to enable test automation, CI/CD and code quality.
  • Have experience engineering secure and reliable software and improving software systems with comprehensive test coverage.
  • Are team players and happy to take the time to perform peer design/ code reviews applying software reuse principles and develop creative solutions to debt management.
  • Can demonstrate coding, design, debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Quality Assurance and manual testing with QA experience.
  • Understand the cloud infrastructure environment.
  • Utilise standardised metrics and reporting to provide testing and quality insights.
  • Create well engineered, scalable and reliable tests.
  • Perform basic maintenance and monitoring of non production environments.
  • Contribute to the build of services and tools that enable DevOps and testing by teams.
  • Have previously worked with complex and legacy systems.
  • Tech skills :

    We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don't expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team;

  • Web services, REST/SOAP/XML and API/Service based testing using tools such as POSTMAN and Pact
  • Selenium, Specflow, JMeter, Appium, TestNG, jUnit, nUnit, Cucumber, SonarQube, Checkmarx, Blazemeter, LeanFT, Maven
  • AppDynamics,
  • Splunk
  • JIRA, Agile Requirements Designer
  • GitHub, Stash
  • TeamCity, Jenkins, Octopus
  • C#, Java, NodeJS, Javascript, Python, SQL, shell scripting, Playwright
