    Campaign Manager

    Smart Justice for Young People is seeking a Campaign Manager to lead campaigns driving evidence-based justice reform for children and young people in Victoria.

    About the Role

    • Create a story bank centering young people with lived experience of criminal legal systems, building the case for community-based alternatives to police and prisons.
    • Develop effective campaign strategies and drive impactful advocacy, shifting the media and public narrative around young people's futures.
    • Work closely with coalition partners, including Youthlaw, WEstJustice, and the Centre for Innovative Justice.

    Key Focus Areas

    1. Raising the age of criminal responsibility to 14.
    2. Raising the age of youth detention to 16.

    What We Offer

    • A part-time role (0.6FTE) with a full-time salary range of $115,062 to $119,864.
    • Generous salary packaging.
    • 11.5% superannuation.
    • 5 weeks annual leave.
    • Bonus end-of-year days.
    • Hybrid and flexible working arrangements with regular contact days in our office in Carlton.
