    The opportunity:

Our Fleet Services team plays a crucial role in making this happen by making sure that our vehicles remain in optimum condition through top quality maintenance and repairs.

    To support our Sydney charter operations based in Turrella, we are seeking a qualified Vehicle Body Builder that would like to join a tight-knit team and be a part of Kinetic's growth journey. You will get access to top-of-the-range tools, equipment and facilities to help you complete the highest quality panel beating and body building work across our bus/coach fleet.

    You'll be involved in:

    • Various repair work including body smash repairs, panel replacements, rust removal and paint restoration
    • Cut & polish detailing and final cleaning to make vehicles ready for service
    • Ensuring all repairs meet industry compliance requirements and company expectations.
    • Assessing all damaged vehicles and deciding how best to repair them as well as estimating time and cost for repairs.
    • Mentor and assist Apprentices and Trade Assistants as required whilst making sure they complete all relevant work safely and at the required quality.

    The boxes you'll tick:

    • Certificate III in Vehicle Body Building, Panel Beating or other relevant qualification
    • Previous experience in body building and/or panel beating on heavy vehicles.
    • Medium Rigid (MR) licence or higher preferred but not mandatory.
    • Forklift licence preferred but not mandatory.
    • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
