- Various repair work including body smash repairs, panel replacements, rust removal and paint restoration
- Cut & polish detailing and final cleaning to make vehicles ready for service
- Ensuring all repairs meet industry compliance requirements and company expectations.
- Assessing all damaged vehicles and deciding how best to repair them as well as estimating time and cost for repairs.
- Mentor and assist Apprentices and Trade Assistants as required whilst making sure they complete all relevant work safely and at the required quality.
- Certificate III in Vehicle Body Building, Panel Beating or other relevant qualification
- Previous experience in body building and/or panel beating on heavy vehicles.
- Medium Rigid (MR) licence or higher preferred but not mandatory.
- Forklift licence preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
