- Wollongong-based role with hybrid working arrangements
- Support IMB's Redhat Linux and AIX infrastructure
- Dynamic and transformational retail banking environment
- Collaborative and supportive team environment
- Maintaining and supporting all aspects of IMBs IT UNIX systems and operations, ensuring stable reliable platforms configured to best practice standards meeting both business and member needs
- Providing support and resolution to incidents and service requests
- Understanding and following error and/or problem resolution processes
- Developing and delivering system solutions according to specifications and deadlines
- Expanding knowledge and skills to support Unix transformation initiatives in line with IMB's IT Technology roadmap
- Participating in a rotating afterhours callout roster to provide timely support and service to a 24/7 retail bank.
- Red Hat Linux administration experience including security patching, OS upgrades, troubleshooting problems, server build and clustering to ensure maximum availability
- AIX system administration experience is advantageous but not essential
- Experience in Public Cloud (Migration, IaaS) is advantageous but not essential
- Experience in Ansible or other automation is advantageous but not essential
- Effective communication skills both verbally and written
- Ability to work together with a diverse group of teams and people
- Ability to adapt, embrace change and focus in a constantly evolving tech and banking environment
- A high attention to detail and be able to demonstrate logical methods for problem solving to remedy situations and make improvements.
