As Rauland continues to scale, maintaining strong financial reporting integrity and disciplined financial controls is increasingly critical.

We are seeking a Financial Accountant to support the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting, ensuring strong general ledger management, balance sheet governance and compliance with statutory obligations. Reporting within the Finance team, you will play a key role in delivering accurate reporting outcomes, maintaining audit-ready financial records and strengthening financial control across the business.

What You'll Be Accountable For

Financial Reporting Integrity

Deliver accurate and timely month-end and year-end close outcomes
Prepare journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations in line with accounting standards
Maintain integrity of the general ledger through accurate transaction recording
Support preparation of monthly and annual reporting packs

Balance Sheet Governance

Complete and maintain reconciliations for assigned balance sheet accounts
Investigate and resolve discrepancies to ensure accuracy and completeness
Maintain strong supporting documentation to safeguard financial integrity
Manage intercompany balances and fixed asset accounting, including depreciation

Compliance & Audit Support

Assist with statutory reporting requirements including BAS, GST and FBT
Prepare audit schedules, working papers and supporting documentation
Maintain documentation standards to support audit readiness and compliance obligations
Contribute to strong internal control and governance frameworks

Process Improvement & Financial Collaboration

Work collaboratively with Revenue, AP and AR functions to ensure accurate financial recording
Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls and reporting efficiency
Support adherence to financial policies, governance standards and operational processes

What Will Make You Stand Out

Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related discipline
CA or CPA qualified (or working towards) preferred
Demonstrated experience in a financial accounting or similar role
Strong month-end and year-end close experience
Proven experience managing general ledger activity and balance sheet reconciliations
Exposure to statutory reporting and audit processes
ERP experience (SAP or similar) and strong Excel capability
Strong attention to detail and high accuracy standards
Structured, organised and comfortable managing competing deadlines
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
Experience in Healthcare or Technology sectors is advantageous, but not essential.
