    About the Role

    We are looking for someone with:

    • demonstrated leadership experience who leads from the front, empowers their team, and embodies a leadership style in line with our organizational values
    • a customer-first approach, a focus on fundamentals, and a passion for retail

    Experience in a retail/hospitality environment is beneficial, but not essential. At Ghanda, we value the right attitude over experience.

    A Day in the Life

    As a Retail Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

    • leading, coaching, and training a team of up to 30 team members
    • driving the Ghanda values with your store team
    • maintaining a high standard of store presentation in line with our visual merchandising guidelines and brand direction
    • liaising with your Stock Allocator and working independently to maintain appropriate stock levels throughout the store
    • preparing and monitoring store rosters, sales reports, and store/team compliance
    • ensuring customers receive prompt service and high-quality goods and services
    • responding to customer inquiries and complaints about goods and services
    • planning and preparing work schedules, and assigning staff to specific duties
    • interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating, dismissing, and promoting staff, as well as resolving staff grievances
    • instructing staff on handling difficult and complex sales procedures
    • examining returned goods and deciding on appropriate actions
    • taking inventory of goods for sale and ordering new stock
    • ensuring goods and services are correctly priced and displayed
    • enforcing safety and security procedures within the store
