Job Vacancy

We are currently seeking applications for an experienced Mechanical Fitter initially engaged at Pioneer Mill in the township of Brandon. This permanent position is a day work position with overtime and some weekend work required.

Primary responsibilities:

• Carrying out inspection of plant and equipment and providing condition reports
• Installation and monitoring of plant and equipment
• Fault-finding on plant and equipment
• Ensuring control systems are operating correctly and are adjusted accurately
• Carrying out maintenance and adjustments on machinery as required

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Completed Certificate III Mechanical (Fitting/Maintenance)
• Post trade experience in diverse heavy industry
• A strong commitment to safety with involvement in safety/improvement teams

The following qualifications are highly desirable, however, we are prepared to provide training to people who possess the right aptitude and team fit:

• Dogging High Risk Work Licence (HRWL)
• Forklift HRWL
• Overhead Crane Ticket
• Welding Skills
