Description

The Security Duty Officer Supervisor will supervise the day-to-day running of the Security Operations Centre with direct reports being the Senior/ Security Duty Officers.

Responsibilities include ensuring that the SOC operates according to facility regulations and SOPS.
You will be responsible for developing and standardizing SOC SOPS and training of SDOs.
Responsibilities/Duties

In support of the Deputy Security Manager provides leadership, strategic direction and supervisory oversight of the OASIS Security Duty Officer team.

Responsible for developing and delivering standardized training for the SDO team.

Responsible for developing and standardizing Security Operations Center (SOC) Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to meet Statement of Work (SOW) criteria.

Responsible for efficient scheduling of SOC human resources.
Responsible for the stocking and ordering of SOC consumables.
Works with the Deputy Security Manager to develop and implement standardized procedures to ensure response continuity between all shifts.
Responsible for the maintaining and storing of SOC Records in alignment with site and customer requirements.
Act as Senior Security Duty Officer if operational requirements need to be met.
Ensure compliance with all site's environmental health and safety requirements.
Any other reasonable duties as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS

EssentialAt least five years' experience as a Senior SDOCurrent GSA safe and lock-trainedAbility to work under pressure, multi-task, and work without daily supervision.

Understanding of classification managementDesirableAdvanced degree in applicable field.
BSCP Safety Trained Supervisor (STS)Cert 4 Training and assessment/ equivalent or ability to complete in first year.
TICKETS AND LICENCESEssentialDriver's License (accepted in NT)White Card TrainingSnake Capturing CertificateOccupational First Aid CertificationDesirable
WHS Training

EXPERIENCE
minimum of 5 years in a similar field

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to walk, climb stairs, sit or stand for prolonged periods.
Ability to work in inclement weather conditions, including near 0c or over 40c

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT

It is a condition of employment that employees obtain and retain the appropriate level of security clearance and medical clearance applicable to each role.

The employee will require a (TS/SCI with Poly or TSPV) Security Clearance
