    We are looking for a Youth Care Coordinator to join our team in Dubbo, NSW.

    The vacancy is ongoing, and will work Full Time, 75 hours per fortnight.

    What will I do?

    Your role will be one of the first points of contact for young people aged 12-25, who have mental health, drug and alcohol, and economic and social recovery needs.

    You'll conduct initial assessments, provide brief interventions, general supportive counselling, client care coordination, and advocate on behalf of young people through positive stakeholder engagement.

    Work within a collaborative and dynamic busy service and assist with community capacity building, community awareness, and education and training activities

    What do I need?

    A genuine interest in youth mental health and the wellbeing of people living in your community. Experience in undertaking clinical assessments of young people experiencing mental health or drug and alcohol problems, or a willingness to upskill in this area, would also be strongly regarded. Importantly, you'll have a thirst for learning and a passion for helping young people within the community.

    Ideally, you'll have completed a qualification in psychology; social work; occupational therapy; nursing; drug and alcohol work; youth work; mental health, or related field, or have relevant experience
