Who We Are
The Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) operates as a statewide service as a division within Queensland Health. It is within this role that our organisation delivers ambulance response services, emergency and non-urgent patient care and transport services, inter-facility ambulance transport, casualty room services, planning and coordination for multi-casualty incidents and disasters, and confidential health assessment and information services. We are a trusted and critical partner in the health care system of Queensland, and we operate to provide care for Queenslanders, 24 hours a day across all corners of the state, in a diverse range of communities and locations, including via telephone and virtual modes of communication.
Your Opportunity
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Workforce Management coordinator to support our Workforce Management Team. The successful candidate will play a key role in workforce planning, data management and administrative support to ensure staffing levels meet operational needs.
You will be responsible for:
- Administering, supporting and maintaining the day-to-day operation of the WFM System.
- Working with key stakeholders to ensure all Operations Centres are adequately resourced to achieve targets and service levels through planning, rostering and real time management of resources.
- Updating and maintaining the system configuration and ensure the system is updated when changes occur to award, business, and work rules.
- Assist with creating optimum schedules for Operations Centres
- Develop and document processes and procedures for administering, operating and maintaining the WFM System for the QAS environment.
- Coordinate, triage and problem-solve WFM System queries, providing guidance and process documentation for established workflows, and appropriately escalating issues.
About you
We're looking for someone with previous Workforce Management experience and a demonstrated understanding of contact centre operations.
