    DXC.comThe role reports directly to the CBMS Customer Delivery Manager, supporting the Department of Finance CBMS SAP Sustainment team and is responsible for the efficient, effective and timely delivery of CBMS Finance SAP Technical Consultant related tasks, services and activities outlined in both this position description.

    The S4 HANA Technical Consultant for CBMS will be responsible for delivery of 24 x 7 "Best Practice" SAP Support Service, ensuring consistent deployment of the "Best Practice" processes and procedures that support the CBMS environment.


    Key Accountability and Responsibilities:

    Technology:
    An understanding of ITIL practices.

    Understand S4 Hana integration with SAP applications: SAP Enterprise Portal, SBOP BI Platform 4.3 (business Objects) and BW HANA, SEM-BW: Strategic Enterprise Management (SEM-BCS), SAP ERP 6.0 Enhp 8 (on Premise), SAP Visual Composer, SAP Budgeting and Planning 1.0, SAP Business Rules Management (BRM), SAP Access Control, Net Weaver Development Infrastructure, Test Data Migration Server (TDMS), Landscape Management, ECC (Funds Management), GRC, Public Budget and Planning, BPC, BCS, CHa RM and SOLMAN, PBF.

    Provide Support within CBMS Team when required.
    Provide proactive services in relation to identifying functionality improvements and/or resolving SAP issues and providing solutions.

    Undertake CBMS Technical and Solution resolution tasks including completion of all related system and documentation activities in accordance with CBMS Standard Operating Procedures and/or KPI's.

    CBMS SAP testing activities (UT/IT/Documentation)

    Team/People:


    Contribute to and facilitate a team based culture while providing a high level of customer service and technical delivery against performance levels (KRAs).

    Manage day to day operations of the technical project and operations team.
    Able to coach and motivate team.
    Ensure team is aligned on expected deliverables and due dates.
    Ensure quality standards are met.
    Provide out of hours support as required.
    Ensure completion of DXC requirements including daily timesheet recording (DXC Time), Performance review (GPARS) and Leave recording (sick, parental, annual, ad-hoc)

    Customer:
    Ensures that client relationship and satisfaction are maintained by meeting present and future SAP application needs.
    Ensures contract compliance and adherence to tools, processes, and methodologies.
    Liaise with Department of Finance SMEs/

    Business Areas:
    to investigate, analyse, and solve CBMS SAP problems and maps Department of Finance business requirements, processes and objectives.
    Develop necessary documentation and reports to satisfy customer requirements.
    Procedures/Processes
    Adhere to ITIL V3 processes, CBMS standard operating procedures, CBMS SLA's and KPI's, ASAP Methodology, Relevant Department of Finance IT and business process requirements together with SAP Best Practices for all assigned tasks and activities;
    Adhere to all DXC HR policy guidelines and requirements including CLEAR values;

    Adhere and contribute to DXC proprietary Global High Performance Sustainment Team MethodologyEssential Qualifications, Skills and Experience:10+ years of experience working on SAP at a Technical Consultant level.

    Understanding functional and technical aspects of Client System.
    Sound Understanding of SAP best practice.
    Technical professional with at least 3+ full cycle SAP implementation, 2+ upgrade projects, S4 Conversion and 3+ support projects.

    Evaluate and implement the right cloud services in SAP BTP to drive modern cloud-based solutions for our clients as directed by Technical Lead/Solution Architect.

    Plan and attend workshops for SAP BTP and identification of cloud service use cases including modern UI solutions.
    Design, build and test SAP BTP based solutions.
    Able to assess and manage technical risks and issues.
    Capability to learn new products and undertake additional responsibilities.
    Proficient in providing input for Pre-Design Authority and Design Authority.
    Able to report both verbally and in writing to the DXC Team and CBMS SMEs.
    Manage technical architecture analysis, design, build, test and deploy for:
    Development architecture
    Ensure future state operations architecture is aligned to client expectations.
    Manage all technical SAP solution deliverables in collaboration with project members.
    Ensure ABAP coding standards are aligned to customer expectations.
    Advise on technical approach for all systems integrating to SAP.
    Manage 3rdparty dependencies related to SAP environment.
    Develop risk technical risk management plan.
    Manage technical considerations regarding change and service requests.
    Plan and manage SAP systems maintenance schedule in collaboration with the Operations SAP change and release manager.
    Manage all SAP technical changes.
    Must be experienced in trouble shooting issues and performance tuning (Mandatory).
    ABAP programming knowledge is mandatory along with good expertise in BTP, Fiori/UI, Portal, CDS Views/ HANA modelling (Mandatory).
    Be able to work in BAU environment under timeline pressures.
    ITIL V3 Certification desirable.
    Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance (Mandatory).
    Australian Citizen (Mandatory)
    Canberra Based (Preferable).
    Strong customer facing and problem solving skills.
    Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
    Strong analytical and judgment skills.
    Experience with issue/incident management in an SAP environment (desirable).
    Experience with Change and Release management in an SAP Environment (desirable).
