    Role Overview

    We are seeking an Assistant Venue Manager to lead a thriving venue within our supportive network of national and international venues. This role involves motivating and developing a young team, ensuring continuous growth and development for them throughout their BOUNCE journey.


    • Work to achieve KPI goals such as sales, labour, safety, venue presentation, customer experience, staff engagement, and implementing strategies to improve these areas.
    • Have a passion for improving venue sales and repeat visitation.
    • Be a leader for safety in the venue by overseeing the implementation of safety initiatives and accurately following and directing procedures.
    • Catch and develop your venue staff and supervisors, ensuring growth and development is accessible to all.
    • Assist the Venue Manager in reading, responding, and acting upon customer feedback to continue enhancing the experience of guests.
    • Assist the Venue Manager in managing expenses and keeping all controllable/variable P&L expense line items within budget.
    • Maintain clean and safe venue presentation.
    • Cash handling, customer service, food preparation, and safety implementation.

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    • Managing the venue's sales budget.
    • Labour to sales budget.
    • Safety management.
    • COGS.

    • Strong experience in team leadership and people management, particularly leading people aged 16-24.
    • A champion for an exceptional customer experience, with the ability to coach and mentor others.
    • A commercial mindset, with the ability to actively manage and work towards KPIs with your manager.
    • Ability to follow and execute standard operating procedures while also providing insights and ideas to constantly upgrade systems.
    • Willingness to roll up your sleeves to ensure the smooth operation of a complex venue, ensuring exceptional cleanliness and presentation, and all equipment safe and well maintained.
    • Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with Head Office departments and national management teams.
